brief Bio
Feldspar is Michael Norwood. Based in Co Down N.Ireland.
Michael started off in cover bands and progressed to original material with the bands Out Of The Shadow and Peacefrog.
Out of the Shadow were featured in the NME. The lead singer went on to work with Van Morrison's band. Peacefrog supported The Cranberries, David Bowie and Hothouse Flowers among others. Michael produced their first demo which went on to receive a lot of airplay on local radio in the North and South of Ireland. He has appeared on numerous TV and Radio shows with the BBC,RTE and UTV.
Michael was offered a publishing deal and went on to work in producing radio and TV commercials, and station idents aired all over Ireland.
Frustrated by the music business he took a long hiatus but spurred on by the new music tech now available he has returned to his first love of songwriting and production under the name of Feldspar.
